Park Hill School District Students Named Scholar Athletes

The KC Star honored Park Hill High School’s Kristen Birmingham, a recent graduate, for earning a 4.01 GPA on a 4.0 scale, earning four varsity letters in volleyball, three varsity letters in track and field, receiving an Evelyn Gates Award honorable mention, winning a state track and field relay, being active in the National Honor Society, and for her volunteer work at an assisted living facility. 

PHHS’s Jordan Austin and Jacob Fickenscher were also nominated for this honor. 
The KC Star also honored Park Hill South High School’s Arley Anderson, a recent graduate, for earning a 4.14 GPA on a 4.0 scale, earning four varsity letters in volleyball, two varsity letters in soccer, achieving all-state and all-region volleyball in 2020, second-team all-district soccer in 2019, receiving an Evelyn Gates Award honorable mention, being active in the National Honor Society, and for her work with Harvesters and the Special Olympics. 

Park Hill South’s Braden Bartosh and Adah Anderson were also nominated for this honor.
