Park Hill Music Groups Get High Marks at State Music Festival

The festival involved 100 band, choir and orchestra ensembles from 21 area schools.

PARK HILL SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL:
The Park Hill South High School symphonic orchestra, concert band, symphonic band, South Boulevard Singers and A Cappella choir ensembles received superior (I) ratings.

The Park Hill South choir director is Elizabeth Brockhoff. The orchestra director is Diane Markley. The symphonic band conductor is Dr. Craig Miller, and the concert band conductor is Charles Boyd.

PARK HILL HIGH SCHOOL:
The Park Hill High School woodwind choir, percussion ensemble, symphonic orchestra, concert band, symphonic band, women's chorale, men’s chorale, VOICES and concert chorale received superior (I) ratings. The brass choir, campus band and concert band received excellent (II) ratings.

The Park Hill choir director is Keith Curington. The orchestra director is Stephanie Hill. The symphonic band conductor is Ky Hascall; the woodwind choir, concert band and campus bank conductor is David Potter; and the percussion ensemble conductor is Brian Burlingame.
