Park Hill High School’s 2015-2016 girls and boys soccer teams earned the Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for maintaining at least a 3.25 grade-point average.
Nationwide, 388 teams earned the honor. PHHS is one of only 47 schools nationwide to receive the award for both girls and boys teams. The girls earned a 3.95 GPA, and the boys team earned a 3.77 GPA.
The PHHS girls soccer team members are Kylie Aulgur, senior; Kelbey Emerson, junior; Meg Feeley, senior; Sarah Hibbeler, sophomore; Shannon Kauffman, sophomore; Aleece Noble, sophomore; Samantha Paulak, senior; Andreya Powell, senior; Alison Walls, junior; Ayana Weissenfluh, sophomore; Jenna Winebrenner, senior and Chais Wright, junior. Haley Buckholz, Taylor Buckholz, Isabella Catano, Heather Wojahn, Raena Woodruff and Madison Massa graduated.
The PHHS boys soccer team members are Erik Goodwin, senior; Nico Bosmediano, senior; Paulo Murguia Jr., senior; Chris Munoz, sophomore; Aaron Simpson, sophomore; Grant Downes, senior; Andrew Rich, senior; Kyle Timmerman, senior; Alec Goodwin, senior; Jack Austin, sophomore; Jackson Foutch, senior; Stefan Derra, sophomore; Jackson Elder, junior and Damon Borrayo, sophomore. Jared Pickard, Logan Crichlow, Brandon Ruoff, Felipe Silva, Jeremiyah Jeffery, Joshua Jeffery, Stanton Heydinger, Joel Lesher, Christian Fullmer and Peyton LaFerla graduated.
