Park Hill School District Seniors Earn National Merit Honors

Five Park Hill School District seniors’ high scores on their PSAT exams last year earned them recognition from the National Merit Scholarship program this year.

The district’s 2017 National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalists are Brett Francis and Sarah Komar from Park Hill South High School and Kelly Decker, Korinne Masters and Dayten Rose from Park Hill High School. They are among approximately 16,000 semi-finalists who now have the opportunity to compete for 7,500 National Merit scholarships worth $33 million next spring.

The National Merit Commended Students are Nathaniel Cline, Colleen Cogley, Kayla Decker, Mahan Hadjian, Hunter Lund and Chandler To from PHHS and Aidan Leiker and Nicklaus King from Park Hill South High School.
