Eight Park Hill High School students earned recognition at the International Career Development Conference in Nashville, Tenn. They reached this level after qualifying at the state competition.
Senior Eva Su earned recognition and a medallion for her performance in the professional selling event. She also qualified as a national finalist and earned the right to compete in the final round of her event.
Junior Kayla Decker earned recognition and a medallion for her test score on the marketing cluster exam.
The following students placed in the top 30 percent of their events and earned awards of excellence: Su, professional selling; Decker, sports and entertainment promotion plan; Chris Kaufman, senior, sports and entertainment promotion plan; Chris Winkie, senior; food marketing; Jackson Foutch, junior, and Madi Hale, junior, creative marketing team project; Peyton Counts, senior, and Taryn Huffer, senior, public relations team project.
