Union Chapel Earns Positive Behavior Support Award
Union Chapel Elementary earned the silver level of recognition from Missouri Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support, and the school will receive this honor at a ceremony in June.  The award recognizes the school’s efforts in training staff, working with students and helping parents with the positive behavior support framework, which Union Chapel uses for creating a safe and orderly learning environment, while improving social-emotional outcomes for students.Union Chapel Elementary earned the silver level of recognition from Missouri Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support, and the school will receive this honor at a ceremony in June.

The award recognizes the school’s efforts in training staff, working with students and helping parents with the positive behavior support framework, which Union Chapel uses for creating a safe and orderly learning environment, while improving social-emotional outcomes for students.

While this is a schoolwide recognition, the team that leads the program includes Assistant Principal Rachel Ward, counselor Susie Martin, recovery room interventionist Jan Rapp, third-grade teacher Chasity Vorbeck, intervention reading specialist Alice Trager and special education teacher Megan Cole.
