Park Hill School District Student Musicians Selected for All-State

Student musicians from both Park Hill School District high schools will perform at the annual Missouri Music Educators Association conference in January.

The all-state musicians from Park Hill South High School are Lawrence Fang, junior, English horn; Melissa Kelly, junior, bass clarinet; and Jayden Hermansen, sophomore, clarinet.

Robert Traphagan, freshman, trombone, is a member of the honorable mention band.
The Park Hill South band directors are Dr. Craig Miller and Charles Boyd.

The all-state musicians from Park Hill High School are Blair Walker, senior, bass; Nick Foster, senior, alto saxophone; Payton Vahldick, senior, trumpet; Marie Parker, senior, flute; and Jordan Evans, senior, timpani.

PHHS student Marcin Glebocki, senior, tenor saxophone, is first alternate, and Nick Foster, senior, alto saxophone, received honorable mention in the all-state jazz band.

PHHS students Abby Bowser, senior, horn; and Blake Harris, freshman, timpani; are members of the honorable mention band. The PHHS band directors are Ky Hascall and David Potter. The choir director is Dr. Keith Curington.
